Get Ready: New Login Process for SF City Partner Beginning September 21
We’re providing your data with more security! On September 21 you will see an upgraded login process with enhanced security. Multi-factor authentication (MFA), a security process requiring users to confirm their identity via a security code sent to an email or mobile device, will be activated. Upon entering your security code, you have the option to “Trust this device for 30 days,” which if selected will defer the need for additional MFA challenges for a month.
The security of your data is important to us. Please review the following information to ensure your access is secured.
How Will My Login Process Change?
When you log in on the SF City Partner site, you will be prompted to enroll into multi-factor authentication if you have never enrolled into MFA to verify your identification. If you have previously enrolled into MFA, you will be asked to enter a security code provided via your selected method for authentication, e.g, security code sent via email or text message. Upon entering your security code, you have the option to “Trust this device for 30 days,” which if selected will defer the need for additional MFA challenges for a month.
Important: If you do not remember your password and have never enrolled into MFA, please contact the Department of Technology Helpdesk at 628-652-5000 for assistance with resetting your password.
What Else is Changing?
Bidders and Suppliers who wish to change their password from their Workcenter will be redirected to the MyApps site, where you can also update multi factor authentication information.
3. A message will pop up after successfully changing your password.
Return to the SF City Partner site to access your Supplier/Bidder Workcenter.
What Can I Do to Prepare for These Changes?
To prepare for the upcoming changes, please make sure you have one of the following browsers available to access the SF City Partner site:
The browsers above are compatible with the upcoming enhanced login process. Google Chrome and Firefox are the preferred browsers for Controller’s Office enterprise applications. Important: Do not use Microsoft Explorer (IE) as it does not meet modern security standards and will not work with the new login process.
