14B Local Business Enterprise Directory Search

Outline: Many City contracts require that a certain percentage of those dollars go to Local Business Enterprises (LBEs). Various Bidders and Suppliers register to conduct business with the City and County of San Francisco and may submit an optional 14B Local Business Enterprise (LBE) certification application to receive this benefit. Compliance with these requirements are tracked by the City’s Contract Monitoring Division (CMD). For transparency, the CMD team previously provided a website query to search for LBE entities that are certified by CMD. The new website query provides a robust LBE Directory search function to navigate and locate the different types of Bidders or Suppliers.

Procedure Steps

Log into the SF City Partner website at https://sfcitypartner.sfgov.org.

You will arrive at this landing page after clicking the LBE Search link. The following categories are listed:

Keyword Search Bar
Filter by Certification Size/Certification Type/Ownership Type/Zip Code
Filter By Category
Search Results

Keyword Search

At the top of the landing page, you will see the Keyword Search section. In this section, you can search for any keyword. If that keyword is part of the name, address, or category of the firm, the system will display related results.

If you enter “construction” and click Search, the system will search any keyword with “construction” in the dataset. This could be in the name, category, etc.

Filter By Certification Size/Certification Type/Ownership Type/Zip Code

Selecting values under Certification Size, Certification Type, and Ownership Type allows you to include entities that match any of the selected attributes. The greater the number of attributes you select, the longer your search results will be.

Use the Zip Code field to search for firms by zip code.

Filter By Category

The search box offers type forward capabilities, automatically displaying matching categories as you type.

When you select one of the drop-down options, the system selects the category in the specific category box.

Search Results:

The Search Results section lists results based on your filters. Each search result contains the following:

Name and Supplier ID
Categories certified
Phone Number and contact email address

Click Download to download your search results:
